Macadamia De-Husking & Sorting
SCM is expanding its involvement in the macadamia value chain through the development of a modern de-husking and sorting facility, scheduled for commissioning in 2027.
The facility will be operated by Prime Australian Nut Company (PANCo), a 50/50 joint venture between SCM and Bewhic.
Equipped with advanced processing and optical sorting technology, the facility will provide efficient, high-quality de-husking and sorting services to macadamia growers throughout the Northern Rivers region.

The facility is designed to handle both freshly harvested nuts and nuts de-husked in the field, with a focus on processing efficiency, product quality and reliable service.
